Q: Why is Sligo21 no longer taking place?

A: We made the difficult decision earlier this year to cancel our summer conference in Sligo this July. We were so looking forward to joining together with you for a week of worship, teaching, ministry and community, but unfortunately circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic brought us to the inevitable conclusion, that the conference could not go ahead as planned in Sligo this year. Although we are disappointed that we can’t join together in Sligo, we are planning a great digital conference instead and we would love you to join us from wherever you are!

Q: I had already booked for Sligo21 – what happens to my booking?

A: If you have already booked for Sligo21 we have been in touch with the person who made your booking, explaining all the options relating to your Sligo21 Booking. If you haven’t heard from us, please email info@newwineireland.org

Q: When is the Digital Conference taking place?

A: Summer21 is taking place from Thursday 8th July – Sunday 11th July 2021

Q: How much is a Digital Ticket for Summer21?

A: An Adult digital ticket is £60 / €70 which will give you log in for one email address to watch all available content throughout the conference AND for the entire Summer on demand!

Q: Why is there a charge for the digital conference?

A: We were so grateful for the opportunity to join together online last summer for Sligo20 Online and are so thankful for everyone who helped make that possible. Last year our event was available free of charge and was widely accessible – with people joining us from all over the world! We loved that we were able to reach thousands and that so many could join us for the first time from around the world.

However, pulling together a conference experience has significant costs associated and the reality is that regardless of whether we meet in a venue together or online from our homes, the financial cost is substantial. The last year has been challenging for organisations like ourselves and we also need finances to keep running and so that we are able to deliver events in the future and continue to support local churches. Therefore, with this in mind, we unfortunately cannot provide a digital conference free of charge. We do want to be able to provide our kids and youth ministry free of charge though and by purchasing an adult ticket for Summer21, you’ll be partnering with us to bless hundreds of families across the island of Ireland.

Q: What’s happening for Summer21 / what all is included in the ticket price?

A: We have been working hard curating an excellent programme for Summer21 including:

  • 2 morning bible reading streams to choose from
  • Live Evening Celebrations with worship, teaching and ministry
  • A whole host of seminar content designed to be easily digested at any time throughout the conference as well as being available on demand for the entire summer
  • Sofa session conversations exploring key topics and how we can truly be local churches that change nations
  • Our Kids, Youth and Our Place Teams are working hard to create a fun and engaging experience for all 0-18s!
  • PLUS – We have some bonus content in store for you to make this year extra special!

Q: Can I buy a ticket for a friend?

A: Absolutely – you just need to book and tell us their email address!

Q: Will smaller local gatherings be able to view the content together?

A: We know that community is such an important part of our summer conference and it’s what we have all missed so much. We’re inviting local Churches across Ireland to become Summer21 Hosts and gather people together within their buildings for our live evening celebrations from Thursday 8th – Sunday 11th July (Subject to local government guidelines and restrictions at the time).

If you are a church leader and are interested in hosting a Summer21 gathering for either one or all 4 evenings, please email info@newwineireland.org for more information and to register!

Q: Will the conference be taking place in Sligo next year?

A: we are very much hoping and praying that we will meet again in person for Sligo22 and we will be announcing more information about this during Summer21.
