At Sligo, our kids and youth programmes are always where the action happens!
From the babies to young adults and everyone in between, there is a great environment for us all to encounter Jesus. There’s worship, teaching and ministry in each programme in a way that helps all ages engage with God, with high energy and chill out times weaved through the programme.
There are three sessions each day for the 5-10s and 11-18s. These mirror the main sessions.
Programmes for Under 5s run at the same time as the two morning sessions (except Wednesday when there is only a 9.30am – 11am session).
At Sligo there are five rooms in our Under 5s corridor:
Ali Matchett is the Under 5s Team Leader.
At Sligo 17, the kids programme changed – for the first time ever, the 5 to 10s split. There were two venues – the 5 to 7s in the Hume Hall and the 8 to 10s in the Glass Space.
The 5-10s still experienced quality worship in both venues with two great bands, creative Bible teaching that challenged us all to live for God, and our usual mad videos, creative prayer spaces, crafts, Bible challenges and lots more. Our children got the chance not only to hear what God has in store for them but to go out and to share God`s love with people.
The kid’s programmes run at the same time as all the main sessions.
Bethan Dillon (5 – 7s) and Matthew Francey (8 -10s) are the Team Leaders.
Youth (11 – 18s)
The Youth Programme at Sligo is all about encountering God and being changed by him. We have awesome times of worship, some of the best speakers around, prayer ministry, games, discussions and the famous photo treasure hunt!
In recent years, several young people have experienced healing, some have come to faith, some have had God speak to them in prophecy and a number have heard God’s call on their life.
The one thing that the Youth Programme is built on is relationships. Our team love chatting and getting to know the young people and it is also a great time to hang out with friends old and new!
The youth programmes run at the same time as all the main sessions.
Reuben Johnston, Hannah Elliott, Stu Armstrong and Daniel Johnston are the Team Leader.
